Meet the Instructors

Rosemary Coates is the President of Blue Silk Consulting and the Author of a new book on Sourcing in China.  Ms. Coates is a China sourcing and manufacturing expert, a Licensed United States Customs Broker, as well as a lifetime credentialed College instructor.

Ms. Coates has consulted with over eighty global and domestic clients, VCs, and Private Equity firms on supply chain systems and processes; she also has extensive experience in manufacturing and sourcing in China.

She earned an MBA from the University of San Diego and a BS in Business from Arizona State University.  She has taught management and international business for many years in Silicon Valley, and has given numerous lectures and workshops around the world on Sourcing and Manufacturing.

Prior to BSC, he was the WW Software OEM Manager for the Asia Pacific region at HP, Director of Application and Integration Services at Answerthink, Director of America’s Consulting Services at Viasoft and Director of Redevelopment Services at James Martin & Co.
